Class observation is an activity that involves directly watching the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The purpose of this activity is to gain a better understanding of the teaching methods, learning strategies, and the interactions that occur between teachers and students.
I conducted this observation before starting my teaching practicum in order to become familiar with the classroom environment, understand students’ characteristics, and learn about the learning system applied in the school. During this activity, I had the opportunity to observe classes in grades 6, 8, and 9, which allowed me to notice the differences in learning behavior and classroom dynamics at each grade level.
The observation was carried out together with the cooperating teacher, who provided guidance throughout the process. Through this experience, I gained valuable insights and learned many important aspects of effective teaching

During my teaching practicum at the University of Northern Philippines Laboratory School, I gained meaningful and enriching teaching experiences, particularly when conducting Physical Education lessons on cardiovascular fitness. This opportunity allowed me to interact directly with students and experience the teaching and learning process in an international educational environment.
Throughout the teaching sessions, I encountered various classroom situations that required flexibility in applying different teaching strategies. I needed to adjust my instructional approach according to the classroom conditions and the diverse characteristics of the students to ensure that the learning objectives could be achieved effectively.
The learning process usually began with a brief explanation of the lesson material inside the classroom, followed by practical activities conducted on the field. Through this approach, students were able to understand the theoretical concepts and immediately apply them through physical activities and exercises.
During the teaching practice, my performance was also evaluated by my cooperating teacher as well as the university coordinator. Therefore, every learning activity had to follow the lesson plan that had been carefully prepared beforehand.
Overall, this teaching experience contributed significantly to the development of my pedagogical skills. It helped me improve my ability to design structured lesson plans, manage classroom activities effectively, and implement teaching strategies in a more professional manner.
Final Demonstration Teaching is the concluding teaching activity conducted by student teachers as a final evaluation of their teaching practicum. This activity is designed to assess the overall ability of student teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning process.
During my SEA Teacher program at the University of Northern Philippines Laboratory School, the Final Demonstration Teaching served as an important opportunity for me to demonstrate the pedagogical skills and teaching competencies I had developed throughout my practicum experience.
In this activity, I carried out the lesson according to the lesson plan that had been carefully prepared. The teaching process included several stages, beginning with the opening activity, followed by the presentation of the lesson material, learning activities, and ending with the closing activity. To prepare for this important moment, I dedicated significant time to reviewing the learning material and practicing my teaching delivery. I also received support from my buddies who helped me during the preparation process.
The teaching session was observed and evaluated by the cooperating teacher, university lecturers or coordinators, and school administrators. The evaluation focused on several aspects, including mastery of the lesson content, teaching strategies, classroom management, the use of instructional media, and communication with students.
