DALLIASAT
The DALLIASAT Program : Developing Awareness of the Life and Language of Ilocanos among Southeast Asian Teachers is a cultural activity organized by the University of Northern Philippines. The program aims to introduce international participants to the culture, history, and tourist destinations of the Ilocos region.
Through this activity, participants are given the opportunity to visit several places in Ilocos Sur, including the historic city of Vigan City. By visiting these locations, participants can experience and observe the traditions, culture, and daily life of the local community more closely.
This program also provides a valuable opportunity for international students to expand their cultural understanding while building friendships and strengthening connections with local students and other participants from different countries.
Northern Philippines, with all its beauty, presents a unique blend of culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes.
Kapurpurawan Rock Formation
Kapurpurawan Rock Formation is a natural rock formation in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It is located on the northwestern tip of Burgos and is situated right next to another popular tourist attraction. It was named after the Ilocano word "puraw" which means "white”. In reference to the white limestone formations formed over time.

Museo Ilocos Norte
Gameng, after the Iloko word for treasure, symbolizes the wealth of Ilocos Norte. It showcases the varied ethnicity and multi-faceted cultural heritage of a sturdy, hard working people known for their industry, resourcefulness and loyalty. The museum was primarily designed to instill a sense of pride for the roots of the young Ilocanos, Yapayaos, Itnegs and other citizens of the province. It aims to create, among both the young and old, a feeling of belonging for their ancient homeland. The symbol of the Museo, a many-rayed sun, is taken from one of the finials at the back of the 9th century church of San Nicolas.
Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, also known as Burgos Lighthouse, is a cultural heritage structure in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, that was established during the Spanish colonial period in the Philippines. The lighthouse was first lit on March 30, 1892, and is set high on Vigia de Nagpartian Hill overlooking the scenic Cape Bojeador where early galleons used to sail by. After over 100 years, it still functions and serves ships that enter the Philippine archipelago from the north and guide them safely away from the rocky coast of the town. The light marks the northwesternmost point in Luzon. The northeasternmost being Cape Engaño Lighthouse on Palaui Island, Santa Ana, Cagayan.
The 66-foot-tall (20 m) octagonal stone tower, the most prominent structure in the vicinity, can be seen from as far away as Pasuquin town in the south and Bangui on the east on a clear day. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the highest-elevated nor tallest lighthouse in the Philippines but the highest-elevated still original and active Spanish era lighthouse in the country. Corregidor Lighthouse is higher at over 600 feet (180 m), and among the Spanish colonial lighthouses, the tower of Cape Melville Lighthouse is the tallest at 90 feet (27 m). In Mindoro Strait, the recently erected modern tower at the Apo Reef Light Station rises to a height of 110 feet (34 m).
Paoay Church
The Church of Saint Augustine of Paoay (Spanish: Iglesia de San Agustín de Paoay), better known as the Paoay Church, is a Roman Catholic church in Paoay, Northern Ilocos, Philippines. Completed in 1710, the church is famous for its distinctive architecture, featuring large buttresses on the sides and rear of the main building. The site was designated a National Cultural Treasure by the Philippine government in 1973 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name Baroque Churches of the Philippines in 1993.

One of the most memorable parts of a visit to Baluarte Zoo is the museum located within the area, namely the Safari Gallery at Baluarte. This museum displays a collection of preserved animals from various countries around the world
