Choosing a therapist to support your healing journey is a personal and important choice.  I encourage people to trust their gut sense after reaching out to a therapist.  Feel free to ask questions about how a therapist works, what kind of experience and training they have, what their fees are, whether they bill insurance or can provide you with invoices to submit to your insurance company or to a Flexible Spending or Health Savings Account.  You have both rights and responsibilities as a client/consumer of therapy services and a therapist should tell you about those, in person or in writing or both.
