The Hand in Hand Parenting practices operationalize the principles of attachment theory, authoritative parenting, and trauma-responsive care. Therapists are in a unique position to support parents and the children in their care. By the end of this course you will be able to:
Confidently support parents to navigate their children’s behavioral and emotional challenges
Support those parents in lowering the toxic stress that interferes with effective parenting
Be able to apply this paradigm-shifting approach to working with the children in your practice

18 CEUs for California LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs.
Includes 12 hrs of live time with Muftiah & full access to the Hand in Hand online classroom (self-guided videos and all accompanying reading material). Plan ~4 hrs/week.
Muftiah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than two decades of experience in the mental health field, including extensive cross-cultural work and specialties in the areas of grief & loss, trauma recovery, and childhood emotional neglect. Her parenting journey propelled her to finding practical instructions for cultivating the conditions necessary for secure attachment. She’s now the mother of a pre-teen and has been teaching the Hand in Hand Parenting program since 2015.
