One person on a team will be selected to be the producer. You will project manage with the faculty team.
The purpose of project management is to keep the team on track. Staying on Scope of the project is something the producer must do. There are a lot of ideas and sometimes they must be honed or simplified to meet the time and budget constraints. Keeping track of the assets needed to be completed, the budget, who is responsible for what task and how the timeline of the project should be completed is essential to a successful game. The main parts of project management is Who, What, When, Where. Game Balance needs to be considered, including point structure and how to win the game, making each player feel included and valuable to the team or competitively against each other.
We will look at examples of project management software including Monday, Trello, and Google Sheets.
