Student Success Stories/Notable Alumni:
Rebecca Jones was a student on campus at Montana State University, moving along toward her degree in elementary education when her world came to a screeching halt. Her son, then aged 2, was diagnosed with autism, and Jones needed to drop everything to be there for him.
Jones found MSU's online bachelor's degree completion program in Liberal Studies on the MSU Website. She graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies.
Most importantly, Jones said, she wanted to make sure other parents who are in a similar situation know they don't have to put their lives on hold.
Shanna Stanley of Conrad, Montana finished her bachelor's through MSU's online liberal studies bachelor's degree completion program. Stanley has a young daughter and works full time as a certified nursing assistant. "I am a single mother and I work and wanted to go to school full time... I couldn't go to Bozeman for school, so the online program seemed to fit best for my hectic life."
Meet Shanna and fellow graduate David Vanhorn.
