In 7th Grade Music, we focus on American popular music -- starting with Jazz music of the 1920's, and ending around Alternative Rock of the 1990's. Students learn about and explore several influential musicians, such as Louis Armstrong and The Beatles, as well as learn about the characteristics of Jazz and Rock (as well as their sub-genres).
