In 1st Grade Music, we focus on singing together as a group, dance, music theory (dynamics), solfège, and even American Sign Language (ASL)!

Interpreting Songs (April 16 & 17):

Let's understand what this song means!

Listen to and read the words to your concert song, "I Like Me."
Think about some things that you like about yourself! Do you have special skills or talents? Are you kind? Do you work hard in school? Come up with 5 things you like about yourself.
Get a piece of paper and write your name in the middle (in whatever colors you want!). Then, draw or write those 5 things you like about yourself!
Last, take a picture with your sign and send it to me! I'd love to see what you came up with! :)
