Student's cultural backgrounds will be celebrated in my classroom. One way to celebrate these differences is to prepare each of my lessons with consideration of the diverse upbringings that each of my students has. 

I will always allow my students to use translation devices as they need. I will also have language objectives that correlate with our content objectives. These language objectives push students to apply different levels of language literacy to their learning in my classroom. 

Another way to diversify my instruction is to include literature from all around the world! I aim to include pieces of literature that every student can find relatable. Our literature will cover all areas of the world and address all different kinds of backgrounds. If you have ideas for diverse literature for my classroom, I am always open to feedback!
