Course Catalog

Please look up available classes. 10-12th graders can take any UC/CSU Transferable courses. Students cannot take classes already taught at your High School. Please speak to your school counselor about classes taught at you school


ATTENTION STUDENTS!!!

Common Course Numbering (CCN) is coming to Ohlone! These six courses have new course numbers starting Fall 2025: 

* COMM-111 (Public Speaking) becomes COMM-C1000 

* ENGL-101A (Reading & Written Composition) becomes ENGL-C1000 

* ENGL-101C (Critical Thinking and Comp) becomes ENGL-C1001 

* MATH-159 (Introduction to Statistics) becomes STAT-C1000 

- To find all Math classes for Fall 2025 (MATH and STAT), please choose both the Mathematics

and Statistics Subjects.

* PS-102 (Intro to American Politics) becomes POLS-C1000 

- To find all Political Science classes (PS and POLS) for Fall 2025, please choose both Political 

Science Subjects.

* PSY-101 (General Psychology) becomes PSYC-C1000 

- To find all Psychology classes for Fall 2025 (PSY and PSYC), please choose both Psychology

Subjects.




Course Description

Use image the the left to help guide you in reading the course's information and input on your Early College Permission Form. Using this information will help you get Familiar with College Registration.

Knowing what course you want to take and seeing what Ohlone is Offering in that term will help guide your decisions and expectations 

You'll notice that the Transfer Status is CSU & UC Transferable and does not have a Requisites 


This mean a high school student would be eligble to take this course if they get approval from Principal.

Permission Form

Step 2: Turn in Permission form ONLINE

Resideny (If needed)

Student who are Permanate Residents, have a Visa,  or Undocumented etc. should be advise to complete residency to avoid delays in there application. Your information is protected and only used for application purposes ONLY. 

Processing

It can take up to 10 days of processing from the day the Principal signs off. Check in with Ms. Alyssa for updates. 

Setting Up Accounts (Myohlone, Outlook, Canvas) 

Step 3: Set up accounts, and take self placement below. 

once you get your welcome email with Ohlone ID#

Step 4: Add Classes to your plan

Step 5: Set up Student email

Self-Guided placement Test

Step 6: Take placement test to be cleared for registration

Counseling

Step 9 (If needed): Clear Pre- Req

Clearing a Pre-requiste for a course using high school transcript or college transcript 

Register & Pay

Step 7: Register for class on designated date and pay fees.

Canvas

Step 8: Attend class and view your course on canvas

Dropping a course

Its the student responsiblity to drop a class for whatever reason.  Students may use MyOhlone to drop a full-term class through the last day to drop with a W. Students who drop classes after the 20% point of class meetings will receive a W grade. However, a W grade is not punitive
