Federal Aid
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA)
U.S Citizen, Permanent Resident, Eligible Non-Citizen, & T visa Holder
State Aid
California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
Undocumented students, Valid or Expired DACA, U visa Holder, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), or meet non-resident exemption
Addtionally Student who are from Mixed Status Families can apply for CADAA. This only provides students with State Aid.
State Aid
To be eligible for state aid students MUST submit a CADAA OR FAFSA application before they graduate
University Grants
Each school determines the aid you're eligible for based on your award letter from your FAFSA or CADAA
Scholarships
Depending on your school, location, or major etc. there are various scholarship opportunities. Speak to your college and career tech about opportunities
Loans
To be eligible for loans (if needed) you will need to have a FAFSA or CADAA application on file. Universities also have there own loans based on your College aid application
Now you see why it's important to apply for FAFSA or CADAA! Its free and doesn't hurt you. If you need assistance please attend one a Cash for College Night at your school!
Ohlone College ya no exige a los nuevos estudiantes que realicen pruebas de nivel de matemáticas e inglés. Los estudiantes se distribuyen en las clases de matemáticas e inglés en función de una evaluación autoguiada.
Inicie sesión en Comevo para completar la orientación en línea y el módulo de autoevaluación y recibir su nivel de matemáticas e inglés.
Al final del módulo, los estudiantes deben guardar un registro de sus resultados para inscribirse en las clases. Tome una foto de sus resultados de nivelación para poder inscribirse en los Días de los Estudiantes de Primer Año en marzo.
Ohlone College no longer requires incoming students to complete Math and English placement tests. Students are placed into Math and English classes based on self-guided assessment.
Login to Comevo to complete the Online Orientation and Self-Guided Placement Module to receive your Math and English placement.
At the end of the module, students must keep a record of their results for class registration. Take a picture of your Placement Results to be able to Register for Freshman Days in March.
Transfer Pathways
Ohlone College is one of the only local community college that has a transfer center! Providing intentional support for students interested in transfering :)
Once you are an Ohlone College student you can benefit from receiving resources and support. The transfer center host workshops for CSU/UC application, University trips, and counsleing guidance!
