SCOPING: WHAT IS THE CONTEMPORARY HOME?
This is the settlement where Kumbhar Community people shifted from older to this newer Kumbharwada due to some family disputes. So they did not have proper space to work over there so they use the street as their workspace.
Program:
- To provide a common workspace for the people of kumbhar community.
- To provide a common shop to sell the pottery.
- To provide a community garden for leisure and gathering.
Talking about the above Diagraming and Program, Kumbhar people used their living room as their working space and there are 2 godowns which belong to Gurule and I also observe that there is friendly relation in these houses, from the observation, I thought that they can commonly use their godown as their working space and one of the Gathe brothers use this space as working space which is road touch so they all can use that space as a common shop for selling there sculptures and pots.
Then I started looking at the different processes which they follow while working.

Intervention space :
Started measuring the space needed for each activity and divided the space into working space and garden area. The green hatched both the spaces is garden space and red is working space.
