Plagiarism is a serious issue. Most schools require you or your parent to sign a paper saying that you will not plagiarize, and if you do, it can have serious consequences. At a K-12 schooling level, plagiarism can lead to failure on an assignment or in a class or even expulsion. At a collegiate level, there is also the chance of failure in a course, but the more likely outcome is dismissal from your program. Plagiarism can seriously impact your future, and it doesn't benefit you. When you plagiarize, you are demeaning the value of your own thoughts and work, and you are putting yourself at risk later down the road.
