• School activity/event poster: Student creates a flyer to advertise an activity/event for the school: "Winter Giving at QSIB"

• Emerging technology poster: Students identify one new or developing technology and advertise it.

• Intellectual property rights awareness poster - the purpose of the poster is to raise awareness about intellectual property rights amongst QSIB students - the poster would be displayed in the computer labs and the hallways.

• Managing your digital life poster / infographic

• A poster describing the history of one piece of modern technology, or an influential figure in technology

• 12yo Math diagrams (as set by the teacher)

• A poster advertising the Green Thumbs Club (gardening club) restarting in February 2023

• Any other word-processing related project the teacher may approve.

To reach A-level, you must include the following meaningfully and in an aesthetically pleasing way:

• A3 size portrait or landscape orientation

• Use of the school logo (use a high-resolution file - it is publicly available!)

• Use of borders

• Use of columns or drop-caps

• Use of font effects, such as text outline, text fill, all caps, or small caps

• Use of icons and/or clip art

• Use of font size that is legible from a distance - it's a poster

• Use of white background - if you want colored background, you can print your poster on colored paper

• Use all the above building blocks in a minimalistic way - sometimes less is more - this is true for colors, fonts, shapes, and any other elements.
