Read the following essay: A Challenge by Shayne Williams
Reflect in writing {by email} on this essay in the following way:
Observations (What I learned…)
Connections (This reminds me of…)
Wonderings (I wonder…)
Make sure that your email contains all the required parts (see netiquette guidelines) and that everything is spelled and punctuated correctly.
Complete the My Digital Habits checkup worksheet (copy and paste it into an email) and email your answers to me. Again, don't forget about netiquette. You need to complete all three parts.
Make sure you include a digital life simile in your text {e.g. My digital life is like a book I am reading because I have a specific time when I pick it up and read it, and after some time I bookmark where I left off to return to it the next day. Here are some examples of such similes.
Open the following PDF file and pick one writing prompt from each of the following categories:
Social Media
Videos and Online Gaming
Friendship in the Internet Age
Life Online
News Sources
Now, write at least a paragraph for each of the writing prompts you have picked from the categories listed above. This means you will have to write at least 5 paragraphs in total. Send me the reflection in the form of an email - please, make sure you proofread and spell-check the email before you send it to me. Also, make sure it follows all the netiquette guidelines. If you don't know how to spell-check in Outlook for the Web, please see here.
Open MS Teams ->Secondary Technology-> EO3 - Managing your digital life. Pick any five questions from the list that you are comfortable sharing the answers to with the rest of the class and provide your answers in the thread.
After you have watched The Social Dilemma documentary, write a reflection on it, using the three-paragraph format:
Observations (What I learned by watching this documentary…)
Connections (Any real-world connections you may have to anything mentioned in the documentary)
Wonderings (Any questions this documentary leaves you wondering about)
Make sure that your email contains all the required parts (see netiquette guidelines) and that everything is spelled and punctuated correctly. Make sure you write your reflection straight in the email body - do not attach any attachments, such as a Google Docs or Word document.
Read the following explanation of this right as explained by Google.
