Mindfulness in Small Steps

The smallest step is being totally present in the moment. Mindfulness practice is the avenue to get there. Working at being present is a skill that can help anyone become the best version of themself. Here’s a good example:

In Michael Jordan's documentary called, “The Last Dance” there is a quote attributing mindfulness to arguably the best basketball player of all time dominating his competition. Mark Vancil, a Chicago Writer, explained his thoughts as to what made Jordan able to become the best amongst his peers. He said, “His gift was not that he could jump high, run fast, shoot a basketball. His gift was that he was completely present, and that was the separator.”

Morning Intention Setting

Start each day with a mindful moment! Waking up a little earlier than the usual time can be challenging, but with mindful practice you will feel less rushed preparing for the day after a few quiet reflective moments.
