UPDATE 19th February 2025.
Dear Residents,
The MO team and Security have successfully removed over 54 cats from Alpine . Starting 20 February 2025, we are changing this service and offering owners the opportunity to manage the removal of cats themselves from the compound.
Most people start to think that catching cats is part of MO work but it is not. We only helped out to reduce nuisance cause by cats to owners. Recently some people complain MO not catch cats fast enough or not enough cats are caught. This is a good moment to go back to the basics and clarify that MO was only helping out as catching cats is not an MO or Security Task.
So now you can experience how much effort it takes to catch a cat and get the cat out.
To make it easier for you we created a tutorial for ambitious cat catchers as well.
Report the Issue: If you encounter issues with cats roaming around your house, contact the Management Office to register and collect a cat trap.
Set the Trap: Place the cat trap anywhere in the common area and send a picture of the trap’s location to Mr. Sharif via WhatsApp at 0123 66 5105.
Provide Bait: You are responsible for purchasing cat food and a food container to bait the trap. Set the trap yourself.
Maintain the Trap: If the bait is consumed or washed away (e.g., due to rain), you must replenish the food. Without bait, the trap will not be effective.
Relocate the Cat: Once a cat is trapped, we advise relocating it at least 5 kilometers away. To avoid unpleasant odors in your car, place a plastic sheet under the trap as the cat may urinate inside.
Return the Trap: After relocating the cat, return the cat trap to the Management Office and sign off to confirm its return.
Thank you for your cooperation and support in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for all residents.
