Have you had any experience playing or performing in a percussion ensemble before? What are you waiting for? Grab a copy of the audition form and join us in our Percussion Festival Ensemble (MPFE). You may also stand a chance to perform in the Grand Concert!
A rare opportunity to learn and perform at the Grand Concert together with our three talented Malaysian percussion artists, Yap Siu Yan, Tan Su Yin and Yon Nian Shee.
The ticketing fee of RM189 for all workshops and concerts throughout the festival will be waived for qualified applicants.

Rules and Regulation (MPFE)
- Application for the Festival Ensemble is opened to solo category only. Individuals of all ages are accepted. Application dateline is on 1st April 2017.
- All fees payable are non-refundable. Payment can be made by cash terms or through online transaction. For online transaction, applicants will need to submit a copy of the transaction receipt to malaysiapercussionfestival@gmail.com.
- The audition timetable will be released by 10th April 2017.
- Applicants are expected to choose two different percussion instrument excerpts from the Audition excerpts or applicants can opt to prepare two different solo percussion instrument pieces.

- Audition date is on 15th April 2017. Audition results will be announced on 22nd April 2017 and all decisions are final.
- Video/ Tape recording are accepted, kindly save your video recording on Dropbox or Google Drive and send the link to malaysiapercussionfestival@gmail.com before 16th April 2017.
- Applicants are expected to be present at the designated venue 30 minutes before their allocated audition time. Latecomers will not be entertained. Walk in applicants are allowed, but a handling fee of RM10 will be imposed. However, priority will be given to applicants who have submitted their forms prior to the audition.
- Parent/ Guardian of applicants below the age of 18 is required to fill and acknowledge the permission section in the registration form.
- Ticketing fee of RM189 for the workshops and concerts throughout the festival will be waived for qualified applicants.
- Non-qualified applicants are entitled to attend all MPF events and concerts through purchased tickets at a discounted price by presenting their IC and the Successful Application List.
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided on Day 2 and Day 3 of the festival. Meals will be served in the klpac Green Room.
- By submitting this form, applicants have agreed to abide to the festival’s terms and conditions.
If participants fail to oblige to any of the festival’s terms and conditions, the organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to exclude or to withdraw the participant’s eligibility to compete or to participate in the festival.
