Warmest greetings from the directors of Malaysia Percussion Festival 2017!

First and foremost, one of MPF’s main objectives is to promote music and arts to the public, apart from aiding the disabled/ handicapped community through music. We hope to share with our audience the beauty of music, as a language on its own. We seek to promote music through education and experiential learning.

This year’s festival includes numerous workshops, ensemble performances, ensemble experience, clinics, community drumming, outdoor marching percussion talk, competition, etc.

By participating in the workshops and concerts, one is able to open up his/ her senses by not only listening to the voice of the drum, but to the rhythm of his/ her own body.

Last but not least, we would like to invite you to experience and enjoy our Artiste Concert and Grand Concert, exclusively performed by MPF’s artists and the Malaysia Percussion Festival ensemble groups.
