Zahrein Mustaffa studied percussions at the MARA University of Technology, Malaysia and earning himself Bachelor of Music in Education. Currently director of Batteryheadz Percussions formed by young percussionists from different backgrounds such as musician, educator, designer, accountant, athlete, student and many more. This group was formed as a platform for the members to express their passion and love in music through percussive instruments and everything about drumming. Together with Batteryheadz Percussion Zahrein Mustaffa have received numerous awards in various competitions locally and internationally. He is also currently a percussion tutor at the Faculty of Music of MARA University of Technology, Malaysia and at the Music Faculty of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Malaysia teaching multi percussions. A renowned clinician in Malaysia who have held many clinics and drumline workshops at all levels.
