Richard Ter

Conductor

Richard Ter is a prominent percussionist in Singapore. He began his professional music career at the age of 17, while pursuing a diploma in music performance at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. After his studies, he entered the prestigious Singapore Armed Forces central band, where he currently holds the Principal role. Other than in the band scene, he is also an active orchestral percussionist, taking up principal positions in Metropolitan Festival Orchestra and Orchestral of Music Makers. He teaches percussion in a number of local Singapore schools and conducts the Canossian School Percussion Band.
