Malaysia Percussion Festival Competition (MPFC) Rules and Regulations

1. Application for SOLO competition is opened to all individuals. The duration of the performance must be within 5 to 15 minutes . Applicants of all ages are accepted.
2. Application for ENSEMBLE competition is opened to groups of 2 to 5 persons. The duration of the performance must not exceed 15 minutes. Applicants of all ages are accepted.
3. A registration fee of RM20 will be charged per individual. All fees payable are non-refundable and payment must be done upon registration, Payment can be made through online transaction. For online transaction, applicants will need to submit a copy of the transaction receipt to malaysiapercussionfestival@gmail.com.
4. Registration form must be submitted by 1^st May 2017. Late entries will not be accepted after the given registration period.
5. A photo of the registration form can send to malaysiapercussionfestival@gmail.com together with the registration fee.
6. A photocopy of the competition scores must be sent to malaysiapercussionfestival@gmail.com by 15^th May 2017.
7. Successful applicants must be available for all the published dates of their respective category of the festival.
8. Parent/ Guardian of applicants below the age of 18 is required to fill and acknowledge the permission section in the registration form.
9. Successful applicants will be notified via e-mail and the schedule of their rehearsal through the Malaysia Percussion Festival's website (https://sites.google.com/view/mpfestival/festival-infomation/mpfc-rehearsal-timetable). Rehearsals will be conducted in the morning of the competition day (18th June 2017)
10. Judges’ decisions are final on the competition day.
11. Meals will not be provided to participants. Only beverages will be provided.
12. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any candidates if they fail to fulfill the requirements of the competition.
13. By submitting this form, applicants have agreed to abide to the festival’s terms and conditions.

If participants fail to oblige to any of the festival’s terms and conditions, the organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to exclude or to withdraw the participant’s eligibility to compete or to participate in the festival.
