📢 [UPCOMING] Seller Portal Refresh, please refer to this FAQ for more information!
Dear Business Partners,
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and regulated platform for the sale of liquor, we are implementing new requirements in accordance with recent reviews by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Singapore Police Force for all Marketplace sellers with alcohol products in their catalogue.
a. Action Required from Vendors Selling Alcohol
Effective 2 Jan 2024, all sellers selling alcoholic products on our platform must possess a valid liquor license.
In order to ensure compliance, we will require you to submit your existing alcohol license via this form here by 11 January 2024. Failure to provide your license by the deadline will be deemed as non-compliant and will result in your alcohol listings being hidden.
Thereafter upon expiration of your current license, any renewal of licenses falls under seller’s responsibility to update via the same form. This ensures that your store on our platform remains in good standing, and you can continue to operate seamlessly.
We appreciate your prompt attention to these new requirements. By working together, we can maintain a compliant and secure marketplace for everyone involved. For questions regarding the new requirements, please refer to the Advisory on requirements under the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act 2015 for any person or business who supplies liquor online (through an electronic commerce platform or otherwise) or through a telecommunication service.
Should you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out via e-mail.
