Happy Fathers Day!
Origins
I was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. I moved to Provo to attend BYU and moved to the Salt Lake Valley after I graduated. My husband, Brian, and I have lived in our house for almost 12 years.
On the Work Front
I taught middle school science and biology in Sandy for 8.5 years, but I quit my job when Andrew was born and I have been a stay at home Mom ever since.
Interests and Hobbies
I love to hike, camp, backpack, read, run, cook, play word games, bake and do home improvement projects.
Something Unique
I have written several nerdy science songs that I play on the guitar.
Favorite Tradition
Every Saturday morning of Conference weekend, we walk or ride bikes to Dunford Bakers to get donuts!
Challenging Times
Trying to figure out this whole parenting thing!
Favorite Memory
I love going backpacking with my family! The kids love it...even though they often complain when we go hiking. Stevie always gets racoon eyes because he rubs his eyes and the dirt from his hands sticks all around them. Andrew and Stevie can run around and explore and be loud without bothering anyone.
One Last Thing
I love chocolate ice cream SO much...especially really good chocolate ice cream!
