Happy Fathers Day!
Origins
"I was born and raised in West Jordan. I lived on the outskirts of West Jordan and went to Taylorsville High School. I served a Portuguese speaking mission in Brazil, Belem and had the awesome opportunity to live in the rainforests near the Amazon river."
On the Work Front
"I work in the logistics department of the United States Postal Service. I love the mountains and I love watching wildlife, I always thought working for the Division of Natural Resources would be a lot of fun and was probably my dream job for a large part of my life."
Interests and Hobbies
"I can lose track of time creating spreadsheets. I love to listen to and learn from podcasts. I really enjoy backpacking or just camping and spending time with family and friends in nature."
Something Unique
"Sister Wallace and I have been married for 22 years and nearly all of those years I have worked the graveyard shift. Working the graveyard shift means that I sleep during the day and work at night, leaving only a couple hours of free time to get things accomplished and spend time with my family in the evenings. Even though it has been a long time our family is navigating the challenges that come with different schedules in our home, sometimes we still find it challenging."
Vacation Time
"One of our dream vacations is to visit Scotland and check out all the castles we can! I am a William Wallace junkie and learning more about him and the Wallace Clan would be really cool! Idamae and I have always wanted to return to South America and visit our mission areas along with Iguazú Falls."
One More Thing
"I am very introverted. It is not my natural personality to talk a lot, especially when around a lot of people. Being Bishop requires me to have to really push myself to do a lot of things outside my comfort zone. I do want to get to know all of the people in the ward but it is hard for me. I will do my best. Please help me by coming to starting conversations with me. I would love to know you. "
