The need for sustainable solutions to meet the demand for energy
Students need to know and understand policies for demand reduction and increased energy efficiency at the global, national and local scale.
Students also need to know and understand clean technologies for fossil fuels including carbon capture, carbon sequestration and gasification and transport technologies.
Students need to assess the sustainability of alternative energy sources.
