Residency Discount
We love welcoming everyone to the pool, but you might wonder why city residents receive a discounted rate on admission and passes. It all comes down to how the facility is funded.
As a municipal pool, our operations, major repairs, and upkeep are partially funded through the local property taxes paid by city residents. Because residents are already contributing to the pool's foundation year-round through their taxes, the resident discount ensures they aren't paying twice for the same community resource.
The non-resident rate reflects the actual operational cost of the facility for visitors whose local taxes go toward supporting their own towns' parks and services. This dual-rate system allows us to keep the pool affordable for the neighbors who fund it, while still welcoming guests from neighboring communities to enjoy a safe, clean, and fun summer with us!
