Our Mission

Team 14913’s mission is to establish itself as a prominent and competitive team in FTC. Since the team’s founding, a few gap years have been taken, and the team has experienced a revival in 2022. We aim to set a standard for the team’s future and future members for years to come. As we become more established, we hope to become a more prominent voice in our community, the larger we become, the more of a positive influence we are capable of having on the people in our community, which will give us the chance to spread STEAM and robotics to more and more people over time. We aim to shape the young minds who form our team as well as those who interact with it through hard work, dedication, and gracious professionalism while having fun in the process. Check us out here!

What have we done?

In December of 2022 the team went out on an outreach at the Outlet malls giving us a chance to spread awareness of STEAM and robotics and it also let Naomi get some fresh air!

All three robotics teams engaged in a team bonding/school spirit Homecoming wall decorating event in September. We all put our minds together and used our engineering prowess to create a beautiful Wall-E themed display!

In January of 2023 some members from each of Montwood's robotics teams volunteered to referee a local FLL event at Pebble Hills High School!
