Book one down!

And so October ends, and what a way to go!

The Age of Ashes group has finished the first book of Age of Ashes and have gained control of Citadel Altaerein. This means we're going to be opening up the "Downtime" section of the website. Currently, I'm only planning on having it set up for the AoA people, but we'll see how the Open World group progresses.

Speaking of which, our first game is coming up this weekend (yikes, we need to think of a meeting place!) and I'm excited to begin telling that tale as well. Not much to talk about with this Announcement, since most of the work is going to setting up the Downtime section and explaining how things work over there. If you're reading this and that part of the website still isn't finished, well... give me some time! I am but one person running two games, working a day job, and still finding time for... weekend oyster getaways?

That said, I am encouraging people the reach out as the days get colder. Seasonal Affective Disorder is 100% a REAL THING, and the best cure for me, personally, is getting together with friends and enjoying a few games. We've got board games aplenty (such as Secret Hitler, Tsuro, Skull, or King of Tokyo) and we've still got a Magic Cube for drafting, several Commander decks along with Brawl decks and Planechase rulesets! Or, if you just want to get a few people together and grab a beer, I think you'll find that most people are okay with that, too.

And don't forget to stay warm!

(PS: The drawing that I made for Trinil Uskwold of the Wizard's Grace doesn't reflect her official art. However, given how she has been handled at the table and the personality she has grown into, I've elected to keep her art as I have drawn. Even though I REALLY love the offical art. Sorry, we're sticking with the scattered-brained and naive Trinil!)
