The cursed seer

Before she made her living selling fortunes as a part of a sideshow attraction, Qarxa lived a relatively normal life for a goblin. She hunted, fought, and ate among the rest of her tribe. The outside world was a distant thing and so far divorced from her life.

Yet she seemed fated to be thrust into adventure. She was afflicted with a curse that caused her skin to become pale and translucent with blue-black veins bulging beneath. Occult power surged in her mind and she found strange things happening as she tried to live her life. Objects streaked across the room with a thought, explosions leapt from her fingertips, and an all consuming hunger filled her like never before.

She was quickly marked as a demon or worse by her tribe and cast out from the only home she knew. Yet it was no trouble for the quick-witted goblin to fall into a life of adventure, using her new skills to earn a trade as a traveling fortune teller.
