Uhn was born small to the leader of Scale Hoarder tribe, the tribe chieftain Fim. Standing four feet tall, Uhn's mother was a massive goblin who was known to kill any would-be usurper with a knife through the throat when they least expected it.

To compensate for his small size, he took to wielding a weapon too big, smacking away anyone who tried to bully him.

At a young age, Uhn went out foraging for scales down by the riverbank. It was a rather mundane task for the Scale Horders, but one that Uhn took to with relish. On that fateful day, however, he found something new.

A sleeping golden dragon. One roused to anger by the small goblin's unquiet footsteps.

Uhn managed to get away with only a few scars, a solitary scale, and a story to tell. Despite that, no one in the tribe believed him.

As if by magic, the very next day Uhn grew to an incredible three foot five, and it no longer mattered if the other teeny, tiny goblins didn’t believe him. He made them believe.

From then on, he was ever on the hunt for rumors of anything to do with the fancy scaled creature he had seen. He started to roam farther and farther away from his home for information about them, determined to bring back a whole slain creature to boast about.

After months of searching, he left his tribe behind and decided to become an adventurer in the hopes of once more meeting his prey. And so off to Breachill he went. Along the way he began to hear the stories about the founding of Breachill. Tales of a longshank who shot fire from his hands and gazed upon the other longshanks with eyes of gold. Gold... like the dragon that scarred him.
