It's that spooky time of year and it seems like... everyone is busy! Well, a lot of us, anyway.
With the Age of Ashes group taking a month long hiatus, I thought this would be a good time to start running some one-shot adventures. I'll go into more detail later, but I'd like to run these games as something like "Drop-In, Drop-Out" games. You will have a small stable of characters that will gain levels and collect treasure as normal. However, you can switch them out between games so that you can test out some new playstyles or just bring what you feel is the most tactically advantageous character to the adventure!
I'm also still interested in trying out a few different systems, but I don't want to start anything new with the "Open World" group before they actually get to sit down for a game of Pathfinder. Sort of disheartening to finally get everyone together only to wind up having to learn another new system all of a sudden.
To help organize things (and suggested by "Wrin" of the AoA group), I've set up a Schedule page on the website. I'll be keeping this updated with my personal schedule running games along with each individual group's schedule. As if I didn't have enough on my plate, huh? I hope this encourages people to be a bit more vocal about availability so that we can plan game days in advance as well as reserve a room in the community center for the OW group.
Until then, have a wonderful October!
