Mistwood is accredited by the Western Association for Schools and Colleges. This is the same regional accrediting commission that accredits Humboldt Cal-Poly and the local high schools. Most colleges and universities require transcripts from accredited schools. Mistwood is currently the only private TK-8 program with WASC accreditation in Humboldt County.
