Mistwood Educational Center is an independent, non-profit, co-ed, private school.
Location: Situated on the unceded ancestral territory and current homeland of the Wiyot tribe, Goudi'ni, also known as Bayside, California, a small rural community in Humboldt County. We are approximately 3 miles south of Cal-Poly Humboldt.

Facilities: Mistwood is housed in the historical Temperance Hall community building. In addition to the main building there is an"annex" that has two classrooms, and an office.
Teachers: 2 full and 2 part-time teachers, all have one or more California teaching credentials.
Curriculum: Mistwood offers a well rounded curriculum focused on art, STEM, social-emotional learning, and social justice.
