What is Digital Access?
Digital Access is an element that mainly focuses on technology users being aware that all other technology users do not have the same amount of access to online sources as the other. In the classroom sense, this means that the teacher must provide the online sources that will be used for a specific lesson or sources that may need to be used to enhance a lesson, and this ensures that each student receives the same amount of digital access.
An example of this is if I am assigning a research paper that will require information to be included from online sources, I am required and expected to include every source that I am expecting the students to use to complete the assignment. This is because of digital access.
