What is Cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is the action of bullying another individual through online sources such as social media accounts, comments, and/or privates messages. Cyber harassment is a form of cyberbullying that consists of harassment using electronic means. This has become very popular over time, but I will not allow cyberbullying of any kind in my classroom.
What to do?
If your child is currently or has been a victim of cyberbullying because of my class, please let me and the school know immediately! We will do everything that we can to keep every student safe from this. Because cyberbullying is such a severe action, the school and I will be taking this very seriously when we are deciding consequences. If your child does not feel comfortable telling me in class, please email me or call the school ASAP!
