The WELL (Writing and English Language Lab) offers tutoring and academic support to all Miramar students. Want to improve your writing, reading, or study skills? Need help with a class presentation, English language skills, or a research assignment? We can help!
Although the Library/LRC buildings are now closed (due to the COVID-19 pandemic), your access to the library's extensive collection of electronic resources (plus research help services) continues:
Current Miramar College students, faculty, and staff still have 24/7 online access to the library's streaming video resources, online article and reference databases, and ebook collections that are searchable through the OneSearch platform.
Please note that San Diego Miramar College’s Library Laptops are only available to students currently enrolled at San Diego Miramar College for the Fall 2020 semester. To be eligible, students must be taking at least one class at Miramar and have no outstanding fees or holds on their account. Continue to check the library website for updates to see when online Library reservations are open.
Laptop checkouts are on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last. Submitting a reservation online adds your name to a queue and does not guaranteed you a laptop. Students who submit their laptop reservations online and receive an email confirmation from avmira@sdccd.edu will have priority. Walk-ins are allowed, however, there is no guarantee that laptops will be available.
