EMERALD
EMERALD
Starting with Botany, the study of plants.
Create a garden of interesting flowers, it should contain at least five different
types of plants or flowers that each have a sign or board with a fact about
them. Imagine it being a special flower museum or botanical garden.
The facts should be related to real life (so not facts about the minecraft
version, but the real version!) so you will have to do some research out of
Minecraft for this one!
Zoology -
Build at least five different habitats for different animals that exist naturally in the
real world (no hoglins!). There should be at least one aquatic animal and one that
is not found on a farm.
Within each small habitat should be examples of food or material found in their
habitat, as well as a small explanation using your portfolio or boards/signs.
For example, in a 5x5 fenced area, a small river is created with grass in the water
and dirt around the outside, with cod swimming through the river.
Chemistry I -
Explain the steps behind making a balloon, having been given the elements first -
use a world template - TBC - Which means you don't need to create the elements
first.
The player explains the process through some simple storytelling or by using
boards or the portfolio item.
DIAMOND
Create compounds such as salt, oil and even water, by combining elements in the compound
creator.
By using the blocks in Education Edition, make a display showing how to create at least five different
compounds, you can use the full blocks, or item frames, or explain using the portfolio. Basically,
someone should be able to come to your world and understand how to use the compound creator
to make a few different compounds.
Did you know you can create elements from scratch using the element constructor?
Create a world which explains how to create elements such as helium, and iron.
Also add to the world a complete periodic table in order!!! You will have to do some research to
make it accurate!
To earn the final Scientist badge - create a science museum. It should have information about
certain plants and animals, it should have a room dedicated to chemistry, covering the basics of
elements and compounds, and finally it should have a room based on physics, which includes a bit
about redstone, and some examples of gravity in action.
This is a large project - take your time
