EMERALD
EMERALD
You have to create a simple adventure that involves finding clues from different NPC characters.
Your characters should tell you the correct way to go, or give you clues about where treasure might be.
Example: Find your way through a maze, but there are three doors and only one leads to safety - the NPC tells you which door is safe
Time to make the adventure a little bit more difficult. This time, the adventure should have more than one task. Try combining different tasks. Also there should be a simple story to your adventure. This can be told through signs or NPCs.
The adventure should have a simple theme as well - with one feature that matches the theme.
Example: Welcome to The Farm, you need to walk through a wheat maze, find a key (lever, button) in a barn of hay and barrels and complete a food parkour challenge to find the chest with the diamond hoe.
Confidently use NPCs to give the player items by using a simple command. Then this should feed into an adventure that has at least three different challenges within it. The adventure should include at least three characters. It should also use start to use border blocks to keep the player from going into different areas.
Example: A challenge where there is a a lava river and an NPC gives the player enough materials to get across, next there is an obsidian wall and an NPC gives you a diamond pickaxe, and finally you have to get through an obstacle but you cannot go around, over or under because of border blocks
DIAMOND
Create a basic adventure map that involves the use of the following:
At least two command blocks
At least three NPCs
Splash text and a common spawn area
At least three challenges to complete
Border blocks to ensure there are no cheating opportunities
This adventure is upto you - create your own story or design but include plenty of interactivity!
It is time to really show off your skills at creating adventures. To collect this badge, create an ESCAPE ROOM/HOUSE challenge.
It should include the use of allow and deny blocks, and border blocks wherever required. There should be a goal that takes at least fifteen minutes to achieve, even for good Minecraft players.
You should have a plan of your escape room written down (either on/off line) with a guide on how to complete the world.
You should have tested the world extensively to ensure there are no cheating opportunities. Your world should contain commands with more detail - such as including taking items from the player. Or it could involve advanced redstone, perhaps having to drop certain items into a hopper to activate a switch. There should be splash text throughout to congratulate on getting to the next stage.
