QUALITY REVIEW / EQUITY AUDIT

In July 2020, Superintendent Gormley and the School Committee committed to accelerating their efforts in diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and anti-racism. 

They added a leadership position focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. They also issued a Request for Proposals for an external consultant to conduct a district-wide Equity Audit to assess issues of equity and inequity across all academic and operational aspects of the district.

In January 2021, Cambridge Education was contracted to assess the district and presented its findings and recommendations in July 2021.
