To achieve educational equity, districts/schools must:     

• Demystify the "equity mindset" (From Deficit to Growth Mindset by Carol Dweck) 

• Thrive on challenge, and don't see failure as a way to describe yourself but as a springboard for growth and developing your abilities. Your intelligence and talents are all susceptible to growth

• Build a strong school culture of belonging by by being intentional 

• Directly address constant inequities by eliminating student achievement and opportunity disparities

• Cultivate a framing of equity that ties together various strategies and focuses them on common goals
