Inspired by the Mission Inn's in-house printing press shop which printed all of the hotel's menus. This activity will allow participants to create their own stamps out of cardboard and foam sheets.

Small Cardboard Squares
Foam Sheets
Pencils
Scissors
Glue
Ink Pads
Instructions:
Instructions:
Draw out any shape or image you like.
Very carefully, cut out 2 pieces of this shape.
Glue one of the cut outs on to the piece of cardboard and let dry for a minute.
Glue the second cut out directly on top of the first one. Let dry for a few minutes.
Once dry, take a pencil and draw out some details. If you apply enough pressure, this will create indentations that will show up on your paper.
You can start using your stamp now! Press into your ink pad, making sure to coat the entire surface of the foam.
Stamp away on your canvas or paper!
