Create your own colorful pet macaw like Napoleon and Joseph. Napoleon and Joseph are two macaws once owned by the founder of the Mission Inn, Frank Miller. Miller was amazed by their beautiful colors and now you can be too with a macaw of your own.

Googly Eyes
Crayons or Colored Pencils
Paint
Feathers
Glue

Tape
Cut your paper plate in half. One half will be the bird's body, and the other will be the head.
Cut another plate into fourths. Two of these portions can be used for the wings and tail feathers.
Glue or tape all of the pieces of the bird's body together. Refer to the example if needed.
Use paint, colored pencils, and crayons to color your bird.
Finish by gluing the feathers and googly eyes onto your bird!
