I made this VW Beetle from a reference image. I did this by using the side view and creating an image plane, then manipulating a cube by extruding it to create the top of the car, then clicking and dragging vertices (selecting the front and back verts) to align with the image's general shape. After this, I made windows by extruding the faces and using the offset option, then extruded them once again to push it in. I then used the mirror tool to make the car the appropriate width and to copy the windows onto the other side. Finally, I added wheels and a bumper made from a cylinder and torus respectively.
I made this Subaru in a similar way to the Beetle, but this time I used a side and front reference image, which let me get the proportions as accurate as possible. I used the bridge tool for the wing. I had some issues with n-gons in the wheel arch, as I used to many edge loops and the verts became a confusing mess.
