I made a table and chair set, first using 5 cube primitives, then using the multi cut tool and extrusions. For the chairs’ arms, I used the bridge tool from a section cut in the middle of the chair to the base of the seat, and added 1 division so I could make a more interesting curve in the arm.
I also blocked out a car model by starting from a cube with one extrusion to create the window area and then adding edge loops and manipulating vertices from the side view to create a nice shape.
I learned all the tools above using this assault course. I think I will use the append to polygon tool again as I find it useful and a better alternative to the bridge tool. However, I will stick to using the bridge tool in the ladder scenario, as it is simpler and faster, although I could see myself using the target weld tool.
