Here’s a group I was only “in” for a brief period, as a kind of “guest lead vocalist”, while the band’s founder – the one and only Mr Danny Crombie – was briefly living in Melbourne, Australia. The project's name was allegedly born when his then-girlfriend pronounced the name of lounge legend Des O'Connor with a lisp (which also gave birth to the cardboard "Des heads" you can observe in the live shots)!
I had nothing to do with the songwriting, only a wee bit to do with song arrangement, and only appear on a handful-or-so tracks over the course of one EP and one album. But we got some amusing recordings and zany live pics out of it all, so...enjoy!
