NOVA Lab works with an extensive molecular portfolio comprising NIR fluorophores, targeted probes, and functional nanomedicine building blocks. Many of NIR fluorophores were synthesized through close collaboration with leading Dr. Henary Lab (Georgia State University), while our team focuses on molecular design strategy, structure–function optimization, and in vivo translational validation. From this collaborative portfolio, we highlight a select group of representative platforms that exemplify translational impact and nano–bio innovation.
NOVA Lab operates custom multichannel NIR-I and NIR-II imaging systems for real-time visualization and quantitative analysis of molecular probes and nanomaterials across biological scales. These platforms enable simultaneous anatomical and fluorescence imaging, spectral discrimination, and longitudinal assessment of biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, tissue targeting, clearance, and therapeutic response in preclinical models.
NOVA Lab maintains integrated research facilities for nanoparticle characterization, cell-based bioassays, and preclinical evaluation. Multimode plate readers, automated fluorescence microscopy, live-cell imaging systems, spectroscopy, and shared institutional core resources support formulation quality control, quantitative phenotyping, histological analysis, and in vivo validation from material design through therapeutic assessment.
