NOVA Lab is led by two Principal Investigators, Dr. Satoshi Kashiwagi and Dr. Homan Kang, who share a unified vision for advancing nanoplatform-driven biomedical innovation.
Together, they bring complementary expertise in nanomedicine, optical engineering, translational imaging, and disease therapy. Through this co-leadership model, NOVA Lab fosters a multidisciplinary environment where collaboration, creativity, and rigor intersect to drive next-generation therapeutic and diagnostic solutions.
Their joint leadership ensures that NOVA Lab remains an inclusive and dynamic space—where team members are empowered to pursue high-impact, cross-disciplinary research at the interface of materials science, bioimaging, and clinical medicine.
