Dr. Sojin Song graduated from Korea University with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. At the NOVA Lab, she primarily works on discovering extracellular vesicle (EV)-based biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease. Her focus is on developing label-free SERS detection assays based on DNA-directed nanoparticle synthesis and performing AI-based multi-omics analysis for disease prediction. She has led research projects on AI-integrated biosensing platforms for dementia and neurodegenerative diseases. Her work includes developing an all-in-one in vitro diagnostic system for blood-based dementia prediction and an integrated SERS-AI platform for real-time monitoring and therapeutic response prediction in an NVU-Parkinson brain model.
