The re-imagining, or rather the reboot, of Bullets, Blades, and Blood has been a labor of love that started on late into 2016 and has been the cornerstone project of my creative juices for half a decade. This relaunch of that story sees the characters introduced in both Fighting Power and the original B3 coexist into the same continuity while simultaneously retelling their origins and stories in a new light for the enjoyment of old and new fans of my work.
This version of the story will be a more mature, darker story, but I think readers of all ages will find something to enjoy. Parents, don't worry, I'll be flagging explicit content when necessary.
Instead of the main focus of the story following Croix Blackthorn's gang of Hunters and their exploits, this story will alternate perspectives from the viewpoints of multiple factions at play in this universe:
"Wildcards" - Marvel Comics fans will better understand this distinction as my go-to moniker for mutants in this continuity. Wildcards are individuals born with superhuman abilities and powers that manifest as they mature in age. Some wildcards exploit their powers for personal gain, others use them to protect others as costumed vigilantes, while others just want to remain hidden and attempt to have somewhat normal lives.
Sentry Corps - A cybernetically-enhanced militarized police force tasked with bringing renegade wildcards and other super-powered criminals to justice. They are financially backed by the Juniper Foundation and slowly gaining more and more supporters worldwide.
Jaegers/Hunters - An organization of bounty hunters, consisting of demons, sorcerers, and the like to hunt their own kind and high profile targets, such as wildcards as they are increasing in number and in crimes, for profit. Their unique brand of justice has been legalized worldwide by the World Nations.
Rogues - Unaffiliated hunters, mercenaries, vigilantes, and other rogue agents who aren't affiliated with any faction, but play to their own set of rules.
Hitoshirenu (The UnSeen) - A cult of assassins that has existed throughout time, manipulating the course of history to maintain the balance of good and evil within the world, going as far as assassinating figureheads of power to maintain that balance for neither good nor evil shall have the scales tipped into their favor. Those few who have seen their faces have not lived to tell about it.
