Methlick Scout Group moved to our current site in 1942, and have been in our current Scout hut since it was build with support from the National Lottery back in 1997. Our building is designed to be as user friendly for our Young people as possible. As a result of us having all 5 Sections of the Scout movement based there it is a busy place, however there is an occasional free slot that is available for hire should a Group, organisation, or individual wish to do so.
Bookings should be made via the form below and emailed to Dawn our Scout Hut Booking Secretary at methlickscouthut@gmail.com who will confirm availability or not, and make the arrangements for your visit. Any hiree is liable for their own insurance cover whilst they are using the building, and will be held accountable and liable for any damage caused whilst they are using it. Please note bookings must be made a minimum of 72 hours before your event.
We work an open Book policy to our charges, and all hires are charged the same:
1st hour of hire £18.00
Any subsequent hour or part hour £9.00
